It was September when my dad began to suffer from constant headaches. Medical scans and dozens of doctor’s appointments yielded no answers. My project started at the end of December when my dad’s eye began to droop and he woke up with a growth on his neck. It was a day or two later that he received his diagnosis of nasiopharanetic cancer. From this moment on, I documented his treatment. I wanted to do it in a way that was less intrusive then having a camera shoved in his face. This is why I turned to panoramic shots with my cell phone’s 8-megapixel camera. I wanted to document not only the ups and down of my dad’s treatment but also the strength of the unconditional love my mom has for him.
